I havent had any new designs at work lately since the start of the new job.
But I do have a few old things I found to post.

So being off work for four days...with this new system should be interesting tomorrow. I have probably forgotten half the things we just learned.
I finally found a place to move to that is closer to work. so excited about this.

Move in date is tentatively scheduled for October 1.
I need to find someone with a truck to move some of my bigger items.

A taste of home...

It turns out the editor on the weekends for Florence is from back home. Poland to be exact. We discussed the paper then it turned to high school...a kid we both know who is a douche...lesbians...then we argued about sports...

The fact that I can have this convo with an editor makes my day enjoyable. I thought I emailed the damn thing to myself but guess not. Im going to post the email here tomorrow...I know a few people who will get a laugh from it.

cant sleep, count sheep

my friend sent me this. we stay up for hours on end talking via facebook chat. it's 5:30 am right now. she lives far away which is cool because she got out of shitty warren too. i miss my friends there, sure. this place is way better for career and life though.

i do enjoy our late night conversations. sometimes being here and not having a lot of friends sucks but i always have her to talk to and i know she is kinda going through the same situation not knowing many people. we can somewhat relate. at least she has her boyfriend there with her.

Buildings can look nice too...

 If you learn something in journalism it's that when taking photos of buildings, make them not suck.

Try and get people they say ... sometimes people ruin the shots. Take these for example. I think they serve well as photos with nothing in them. A deserted alley or clever book steps outside a library. Sometimes architecture can be beautiful in its own way. At least I believe it can.
